Courtney Heldman, MS, OTR/L | Director of Reservoir Occupational Therapy

Courtney Heldman, MS, OTR/L is the director of the Occupational Therapy (OT) group at the Lab School of Washington, where she has worked as an occupational therapist since 2009. Prior to Lab, she worked as an OT in the St. Louis Public Schools. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and her masters in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. Courtney has worked with students of all ages at the Lab School, and has specialized interest in helping children with learning differences improve their self-regulation skills, motor skills, handwriting and keyboarding efficiency, and organizational and study skills. Courtney has helped design and lead Lab’s summer OT therapeutic camp for children aged 4-7 for the past several years, and is helping to oversee the implementation of the new OT/Physical Education collaboration piloted in 2021.
